Refund Policy

Clear and fair refund terms for Briefly subscribers.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

We want you to be satisfied with Briefly. If our service does not meet your expectations, refunds are available under the following conditions:

Within 7 days of purchase: You may request a full refund for any reason.

Within 14 days of purchase: A full refund is available only if the service has not been used (i.e., no audio uploads or summary generations).

After 14 days: Refunds are not provided except where required by applicable law.

2. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

After cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of the paid period.

We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at mk@brfl.cc with:

• Your account email address

• Date of purchase

• Reason for refund (optional, but helps us improve)

We will process valid refund requests within 7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

• Services already rendered (audio transcription and summaries that have been generated)

• Subscriptions cancelled after the 14-day window

• Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations

5. Disputes

If you believe you are entitled to a refund that was denied, please contact us at mk@brfl.cc to discuss your case.

We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and in good faith.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this refund policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced at least 7 days in advance.

The current version always applies to purchases made after its effective date.
